CTET Result 2024 ctet.nic.in: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 7, 2024. The CBSE will release the official answer key of CTET 2024 in two weeks and result by the mid of July month. CBSE has not provided the exact date for the release of CTET answer key 2024 and for declaration of CTET result 2024. However, the unofficial answer key of CTET 2024 along with question paper will be available on the same day courtesy of many of the coaching institutions and test preparation portals. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) each year for granting eligibility to the candidates aspiring to become teachers. Under normal circumstances, the eligibility test is conducted twice a year, the CTET scheduled in 7th July 2024.
CTET paper 1 is conducted for class 1-5 teacher aspirants and paper 2 is held for class 6-8 teacher aspirants. Each year, around 25-30 lakh aspirants appear for the CTET July 2024, out of which only 3.5-6 lakh qualify.
CTET Result 2024
It is expected that CTET result 2024 will be announced at https://results.cbse.nic.in in the July third or fourth week. CBSE usually declares the CTET result within 3-4 weeks along with the statistics about how many qualified the test.
The candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in order to pass the CTET and earn the eligibility certificate. The CTET certificate validity is 7 years from the year of exam.

- General category- 60% (90 out of 150 marks)
- OBC/ST/SC category- 55% (82 out of 150 marks)
How to check result:
- Go to the official website www.ctet.nic.in or https://results.cbse.nic.in
- Click on the notice titled “Result of CTET held on 7 July 2024”
- Login using your application number, date of birth etc. details
- Your result containing the total marks, subject-wise marks, as well as qualifying status will bne displayed online.
The candidates who fail to pass the CTET 2024 may appear again for the test in order to gain the eligibility certificate.
CTET Answer Key 2024
CBSE releases the official CTET question paper and answer key after 1-2 weeks of the conduct of the exam. The CTET answer key 2024 with question paper PDF will be released in the first or second week of February.
The board will upload the scanned images of candidate’s OMR sheet along with answer key and question paper at its official website www.ctet.nic.in. The candidates can view the official CTET 2024 answer key PDF by login at CTET website with their Application number, date of birth and Security PIN.
The unofficial answer key of CTET 2024 will be available on the evening of Julu 7, 2024. Many prominent coaching institutions release the CTET answer key at their websites. We will update the same here as available.

How to calculate marks using answer key
Both CTET paper 1 and paper 2 exams were of 2.5 hours. A total of 150 objective type questions for a total of 150 marks were asked in the each paper. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking.
So, to calculate their marks in CTET, the candidates just need to tally their attempts with the correct answers provided in the answer key. The total number of correct answers will be your total marks in CTET.
